Presentation
The Conference of "African Synergy" shall be Conference supreme and decision-making organ of African Synergy.
It shall comprise:
    * Ex-officio members ;
    * Associate members, and
    * Honorary members.

Honorary members shall participate in Conference deliberations in an advisory capacity.

Representatives of international and non-governmental organizations and independent personalities with certain skills may be invited as observers to the Conference of African Synergy.

The Conference of African Synergy shall be run by an elected bureau for a two-year term of office.

The bureau of the Conference of African Synergy shall be run by the First Ladies. It shall comprise :

 2. PRESIDENT  : MADAME CHANTAL COMPAORE , FIRST LADY OF BURKINA FASO

 3. VICE-PRESIDENTS

• MADAME LARABA TANDJA ZEINABOU, FIRST LADY OF THE  REPUBLIC OF NIGER
• MADAME ZINA WAZINA DEBY, FIRST LADY OF THE REPUBLIC OF CHAD
• MADAME ANNA PAULA DOS SANTOS, FIRST LADY OF THE REPUBLIC OF ANGOLA
• MADAME SUZANNE MOUBARAK, FIRST LADY OF THE ARABIC REPUBLIC OF EGYPT
• MADAME JANET MUSEVENI, FIRST LADY OF OUGANDA

 4. ADVISER

Duties
The Conference of African Synergy shall define the policy of the Association. In this capacity it shall:

* adopt the rules of procedure;
* adopt the programme of action;
* examine and approve reports from the Executive Secretary;
* adopt the budget of the Association;
* elect the bureau;
* elect the Executive Secretary and his/her deputy;
* Vote resolutions and recommendations on issues discussed;
* discuss all issues relating to the life of the association, in particular amendments to the Statute, the rules of procedure and subsequent instruments

Periodicity of sessions
The Conference of African Synergy shall meet in ordinary session every year

Whenever the circumstances so require and at the invitation of one-third of First Lady members of African Synergy, the Conference may meet in extraordinary session..

Venue of sessions
The Conference of African Synergy shall be held in accordance with the periodicity provided for in Article 14 above, in the country of one of the First Lady members on a rotational basis. The order of rotation shall be decided by the First Lady members of African Synergy.

Bureau of the Conference of African Synergy
1. The bureau of the Conference of African Synergy shall be run by the First Ladies. It shall comprise:

    * A President;
    * Four Vice-Presidents;
    * Four Advisers chosen from the associate members;
    * Resource persons coopted by the First Ladies;
    * A Rapporteur.
The Executive Secretary shall act as Rapporteur.

2. The President of the Conference of African Synergy shall have the mandate to represent the Association.

3. The bureau of the Conference shall manage meetings of African Synergy. It shall also be responsible for coordinating the actions of members. The Vice-presidents shall assist the President in the performance of her duties.

4. Decisions of the Conference of African Synergy shall be taken by consensus. However, where consensus cannot be reached decisions shall be put to vote in accordance with the rules of procedure.
